Below is a complete listing of the skits and plays I have produced for this site in the 12 years since starting it.  These scripts have been performed by literally thousands of churches (at last estimate between 18,000-20,000) across the United States (in all 50 states) and many countries across the world. Our site has been visited by nearly two million people, so you are in good company, and can rest assured that these scripts have been performed and enjoyed by many already (see our Testimonials Page for an incredible amount of amazing email reports).

Click on the skit title or banner above each synopsis to explore the script through a complete scene-by-scene description, with many sample pages. You can also search for a particular type of script by using the “Categories” drop-down menu on the top of the left sidebar. There is also a Tag Cloud section on the left sidebar where you can search for scripts with a particular theme by using the tags associated with the script.

Each of the scripts have accompanying audio tracks that will enhance your performance. Some are the type where you deliver your lines from the script and the soundtrack supplies the background music and sound effects. Some are of the “no lines to learn” type where the soundtrack supplies all the narration, music and effects.  LOOK FOR THIS “SOUNDTRACK KEY” ON EACH SCRIPT PAGE TO DETERMINE WHAT KIND OF SCRIPT AND SOUNDTRACK IT IS.

As much a statement on the culture war between the secular and the sacred, as it is on the dangers of various habits, this short 8-10 minute script uses 7 or more people. This script has been used to great success with the “Celebrate Recovery” program!

stupidbanner“The Stupid Dummy’s Guide To Higher Self-Esteem”

Soundtrack also includes a fully-produced demo track that could be used for a puppet show.

Wanting to cross over into secular entertainment, a Christian actor tries out for the role of an action hero in a major motion picture. Torn between his standards and the desire to get the role, the aspiring “new Eastwood” finds that being a crossover artist puts him on the wrong side of the fence. thegiftbanner“The Gift”
(Soundtrack key: You do your own lines and the Skit Trax supply the background music and sound effects.)

An elderly lady is admitted to a nursing home. Her fruitful days of puppet ministry are coming to a close, but then something wonderful happens! Written specifically for a female ventriloquist/actress, this script is limited in who can perform it, but it’s an idea I’ve had for awhile. Maybe there is a lady out there reading this who has that kind of ministry, that might enjoy doing the script.  (If someone offstage on a mic supplies the lines of the vent figure, then the actress does not need to be a real ventriloquist.)

shellfishbanner“The Man With The Shellfish Heart”
(Soundtrack key: You do your own lines and the Skit Trax supply the background music and sound effects.)

Here’s a script that only takes two people to perform, yet it’s packed with humor and pathos. A private detective, looking for the heir to a great fortune, stumbles on a sad, depressed shell of a man who has had his heart broken. Insensitive at first, the Christian P.I. begins to realize that his own heart has been clammed up about God’s love for too long. Runs about 8-10 minutes, and is great for Friendship Day. Comes with a fully-produced demo track that can be used for a puppet show if desired.

Funny, direct and easy-to-do, this script goes great as a follow-up sequel to “Assignment: Witness,” or stands alone. Two main and two minor roles. 6-8 minutes.

canvasbanner“A Canvas of Lies”
(Soundtrack key: You do your own lines and the Skit Trax supply the background music and sound effects.)

During a TV interview about his new gallery exhibition, Mr. Zee reveals the secret of his artistic success. But before it’s over, more is revealed than he counted on! Running about 10 minutes and using 3 main actors, two bit parts and some extras, this “colorful” skit will put the truth on display in a humorous way.

This script is not quite as humor-oriented as the others, (although it does have funny moments) but it’s very effective in the portrayal of the ways people try to avoid facing the fact that a dark predator is stalking them. Good for some chills, with guaranteed goosebumps at the end! About 10 minutes, and can use as many as eleven actors.

“Tricks or Treats: Scare vs Share”

(Soundtrack key: You do your own lines and the Skit Trax supply the background music and sound effects.)

A seasonal script. A Christian wife takes the opportunity to hand out Gospel tracts with the candy for Halloween: “share,” but her husband has a different idea: “scare!” Will the kids get “tricked” or “treated?” And what about the neighbors that pop in unexpectedly? A short, fun (and very easy-to-do) skit that uses 4 adults and (briefly) a half-dozen kids (that come to the door.)
